As soon as Gimp finishes re-compiling (I linked it to the wrong gtk the first time, so it had problems), I'm going to rework this design some to add in new content (woo-hoo). I'm playing with stuff like hourly snapshots, web cams, what I'm listening to right now, etc. Should be some interesting stuff.

If anyone knows a Linux mp3 player that prints out what file its playing somewhere, let me know. I love x11amp, but I want something that I can grab the filename from to put here.

I'm finally getting around to taking some old records and transferring them to mp3. Right now I'm recording the Muppet Show. Some things get a lot funnier once your older... This is great stuff.

I just found a great use for my Rio (I bought one in San Diego). You know how quiet it is when your machine's rebooting? Just flip on the Rio. Sound quality's great, and it holds plenty to survive even the longest fscks.

I'm back (as if you cared). Now time to figure out how impossible all the crazy ideas I came up with out there are. Lots of cool RealMedia stuff coming if I can slap their messed up system into compliance.
